Sue Solymosi
Sue has been involved with JCI Canada since 2012, and dove in head first, right from the beginning, to opportunities including board roles and project management. She is excited to share her JCI experience and passion for the organization in her role as the 2022 National President. She is a mortgage broker, married with three kids, and loves to live an active lifestyle.

Jasper Salinana
Jasper is new to the JCI Canada board this year, and has been a JCI member since 2013 and served numerous board roles in JCI Edmonton, including Local Chapter President in 2019. In 2022, Jasper will focus on running the TOYP program and providing resource support to chapters across Canada. Outside of JCI, he volunteers with the Edmonton Chapter of CPAs as an executive board member, and is a Business Consultant at TELUS.

Yvette Ashiri
A woman of action and vision, a spouse and mother of 2, Yvette is recognized for her leadership and commitment to
causes for equality, social justice, the advancement of the status of women and young girls and empowerment, and positive change. She served as the 86th JCI Canada National President and first black woman. She is Senator #79700, and a Public Servant at the Federal Government of Canada.

Andrew Defor
Andrew is a Professor and Chief Executive Director at the Center for Global Health Security & Diplomacy. He has over 10 years experience as a Senior Lobbyist in Ottawa and provides Foreign policy advice to High-ranking Canadian Federal Government political officials. Andrew has held positions as Vice-President and President of JCI Local chapter in Ottawa. His passion is to direct implementation of public relations and advocacy programs that increase JCI Canada's influence in Canadian Government, private sector and the public in order to increase JCI Canada's local chapter memberships.

Craig Woods
Craig has been a JCI member since 2015 and served numerous board roles in JCI Vernon, including Local Chapter President in 2021. In 2022, Craig will focus on JCI Canada’s National Awards program, implement a National project and manage initiatives and opportunities that allow for connections in his role as NVP. Craig is a Senior Manager at KPMG and has experience offering assurance, accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse range of industries and organization sizes. He is an avid traveler, sports enthusiast and enjoys outdoor adventures.

Danielle Andrews
Hello, my name is Danielle Andrews, NPV Training JCI Canada 2022. I have been a member of my local JCI Kelowna Chapter since 2016 and was Chapter President in 2020. As a former JCI Effective Speaking competition finalist at the JCI America Conference, I am excited to be supporting others through this valuable training opportunity. My career is in Economic Development in the role of Outreach Officer at a not for profit called WeBC which supports women entrepreneurs in BC. If you're ever in Kelowna in the winter, be sure to hit me up for a powder day at Big White Ski Resort, or in the summer, let's go to the beach and I'll be sure to give you a hula hoop lesson!

Crispin Bottomley
Secretary General Crispin Bottomley joined JCI in 2013 as a member in St.Catharines, ON. He went on to serve as our National President in 2019. Crispin works in the tourism sector and has been a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years.

Dustin Griffin
Dustin is a Lawyer practicing in Vernon, B.C. As a part of JCI Vernon, he has been motivated by the dynamic way JCI events and programs impact our local communities. In addition to his JCI work, he is on the executive committee of the Armstrong Interior Provincial Exhibition and enjoys working to showcase agriculture in Western Canada.

Casey Trivett
Casey Trivett joined JCI Kelowna in 2017, served on the local board of directors in 2021, and is proud to be part of the 2022 JCI Canada team. She lives in Kelowna, British Columbia and is a civil litigation lawyer. She loves playing piano and skiing in her spare time.

Graham Moir
Graham is a continuing professor with the Okanagan School of Business at Okanagan College. When Graham isn’t working with his students, he can be found skiing, cycling, sailing or playing tennis. He joined JCI Kelowna in early 2015, held the positions of Secretary and President locally, Secretary-Treasurer regionally and now is the Treasurer for the national organization. Graham joined the JCI Senate in 2021 and stays active with JCI to give back to his community and support the growth of fellow members.

My name is Nicola Dent and I am the manager at CapriCMW Insurance Polson location in Vernon BC and an insurance advisor. I have been a JCI member for almost 12 years and been active on the local, regional and National levels. I have stayed with JCI because of the training, friendships and personal growth I gain every year I’ve been a member and look forward to bringing in new members to have their own experiences.

Trevor McTavish
Trevor joined JCI in 2017, jumping in with both feet and never looking back. He has a passion for teaching people financial literacy and he became Chapter president 2 short years after joining JCI. Trevor loves getting out in the community and enjoys making an impact and seeing change not only locally but globally as well. Trevor loves JCI and the people involved and his only regret was not getting involved sooner.
