JCI Canada is a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI), a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs. Globally, JCI has 5,700 chapters in 110 nations and territories around the world. JCI countries are divided into four areas: Area A, B, C, and D. Canada is part of JCI’s Area C, which encompasses all of North, South, & Central America and the Caribbean.
An Area C conference is hosted by a different LOM (Local Organizational Member) each spring. The Area C conference provides training, networking and fellowship and is truly an international experience.
The winner of the Effective Speaking Competition at JCI Canada's National Convention will represent JCI Canada at the Area C Conference.
An ONTO Chair is appointed each year to organize the Canadian delegation.
The 2008 Area C Conference will be held in Panama from April 30-May 3. Check out their website for full conference details www.jci-panama2008.com/. Read their latest newsletter.
